 Towering Peaks marks the beginning of a new chapter. Painted on my 40th birthday, this was my first experience working in oil—a gift not of an object, but of time and teaching. My father and I sat side by side, studying brushstrokes, talking our way through every mountain ridge and reflection until the landscape slowly came to life.

The peaks rise steady and enduring, while the water below reflects their strength in softened light. There is patience in this piece. There is guidance. There is legacy.

What began as a lesson became something far more meaningful—a shared moment preserved in paint. For that reason, Towering Peaks remains in my private collection due to its personal significance. That said, I am always open to meaningful conversations with collectors who truly connect with its story.
